Oracle is recruiting a Consulting Intern – Oracle Financial Services Software (Technical) within Oracle Consulting – Financial Services (OFSS) in Johannesburg (Woodmead). This 12-month internship (starting 1 April 2026) provides practical exposure to technical consulting work on core banking systems, including analysing and validating FLEXCUBE module behaviour, supporting testing and documentation, and contributing to solution preparation for banking clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with analysing and validating FLEXCUBE module behaviour (e.g., CASA, Payments, Loans, Customer modules).
- Support test execution by simulating scenarios, reviewing logs, and documenting issues and expected behaviour.
- Help with basic configuration tasks, environment checks, and version comparisons under guidance.
- Contribute technical inputs for proposals, demonstrations, and solution documents.
- Assist with interface mapping reviews and understanding integrations (ATM/POS, clearing systems, payment gateways).
- Capture notes and support documentation during customer workshops, requirement sessions, and UAT activities.
- Participate in OFSS/FLEXCUBE training to build product knowledge and understanding of banking processes.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, BCom Informatics, Engineering, or similar.
- Open to graduates who:
- Have not previously participated in an internship, and
- Have not held a permanent role for longer than 12 months.
- Nice to have:
- Exposure to SQL/PLSQL, APIs, or integration concepts.
- University projects involving systems analysis, workflows, or testing.
