• Position Title: YES Youth – Contact Centre (Durban – Umhlanga)

• Location: Nedbank Park Square Campus, Umhlanga Rocks, Durban North, KwaZulu-Natal
• Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract (12 Months)

• Stipend: Monthly stipend to cover basic costs (not a salary)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service and promote Nedbank’s products and values.
• Engage with clients via phone, email, and SMS to resolve queries and offer solutions.
• Support sales, service, and collections functions within the contact centre.
• Maintain client satisfaction through efficient and empathetic communication.
• Participate in team discussions, training, and performance initiatives.
• Uphold Nedbank’s values of integrity, respect, accountability, and client focus.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: 18 to 29 years (born between November 1995 and November 2007).
• Citizenship: South African-born African, Coloured, or Indian applicants (as defined by BBBEE Act).
• Education: Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• Experience: No prior YES programme participation; currently unemployed.
• Skills: Basic computer literacy and English proficiency (additional South African languages advantageous).
• Location: Must reside within a 30–35 km radius of Umhlanga.
