Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative Learner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Efficiently and effectively responding to customer inquiries through various channels, primarily voice-based.
  • Identifying customer needs and ensuring these needs are met through excellent service.
  • Following established processes for resolving customer inquiries and contributing to process improvements when necessary.
  • Independently managing customer interactions to meet and exceed agreed-upon quality standards.
  • Demonstrating a sense of urgency in responding to customer needs.
  • Meeting service level agreements by accurately completing required tasks and maintaining positive communication with relevant parties, such as 2nd and 3rd line support, to enable timely problem resolution.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with customers.

Problem-Solving: Demonstrated high-level problem-solving skills.

Computer Literacy: Basic computer knowledge, including familiarity with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the latest operating systems.

Typing Skills: Typing at a minimum speed of 25 words per minute with 90% accuracy.

Solution-Oriented: Ability to provide value-adding solutions to customers.

Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence and soft skills, crucial for serving high-profile customers.

Time Management: The capability to achieve goals on time while delivering excellent customer care.

Adaptability: A willingness to learn, acquire knowledge, and develop your skills.

Experience: Prior experience in a multi-system environment is beneficial but not mandatory.

Education: A matric pass is required.

Employment Status: You should be unemployed for at least 7 days before applying.

Location: Reside in the Western Cape region.

Previous BPO or Learnership Experience: No previous experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) or learnerships should be on your record.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English and at least one of the following languages: Zulu, Xhosa, or Sotho.
