What is This Learnership?
Maersk provides learnership opportunities to young people who are interested in learning about the workplace and having a chance to hone their job skills.

Requirements
Please make sure you meet ALL of the following minimum entrance requirements before submitting your application because if you don’t, your application will be rejected:
- Must be a South African youth who identifies as Broadly Black.
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 30.
- Must be jobless right now.
- Must have passed Grade 12 or the Matriculated.
- Advantageous: acquired a new certification.
- Must have a strong academic record.
- Must be familiar with computers.
- Good communication abilities are required (oral and written).
- Have to be a quick learner.
- Must not have previously completed a YES learnership.
- Must have great time management skills.
- Must be able to work efficiently and productively in a team.
- Must have a positive attitude.
- Must be resilient Must be totally committed to the entire course of the program.
