This learnership will be held in various locations throughout South Africa.

What is JA South Africa?

JA South Africa, founded in 1979, provides a forum for South African youngsters to develop entrepreneurial skills, financial literacy, and workplace preparedness.

JA South Africa offers a variety of programs for people of all ages, including programs for 8-year-old primary school students, high school students, and recently graduated high school students.

JA South Africa thinks that the solution to increasing employment in South Africa is to strengthen the small business sector and foster entrepreneurship; by doing so, they want to instill entrepreneurial and business skills in the country’s youth, who will one day become the country’s leaders.

What is This Learnership Program?

Youth Enterprise Development Programme is offered by JA South Africa.

The program’s mission is to provide candidates with the skills and information they need to take the actions necessary to make their company aspirations and goals a reality.

Candidates will learn how to develop their own sustainable firm through this integrated educational experience and incubator-style program.

During the first six months of the program, the candidate will be guided, facilitated, and supported in learning how to run and start a sustainable firm, as well as introduced to various entrepreneur concepts.

This program’s training will include case studies, site visits, and guest lecturers.

After completing the course work, the candidate will receive continued mentorship and assistance, as well as be introduced to other alternatives for funding their business, such as micro-finance institutions, in the second half of the program.

The candidate will receive a JA South Africa certificate as well as a NQF-4 Services SETA approved certificate upon successful completion of the program.

Throughout this curriculum, you will learn how to:

  • Improve their interpersonal abilities and develop as a team player
  • Improve your time management abilities.
  • Learn about business ethics, planning, creation, and functions.
  • Learn about market research, management, and business operations planning.
  • How to Gain Complete Financial Control
  • Create your brand and successfully advertise it.
  • Handle any issues that arise with professionally.
  • Make wise decisions in high-pressure situations.

Requirements

Please make sure you meet ALL of the following minimum entrance requirements before submitting your application because if you don’t, your application will be rejected:

  • You must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
  • A strong mastery of the English language is required (written and oral)
  • You must NOT be committed to any form of job.
  • You cannot be a full-time student.
  • Must be really enthusiastic about launching a business.
  • A’self-starter’ is required.
  • Must be energetic, driven, and willing to contribute to the program
  • Must be able to commit to the entire course duration
