The purpose of this learnership programme is to provide successful candidates with the opportunity to participate in an Electrical Engineering learnership programme while attaining artisanship through trade testing.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Completed N3 or NCV4 certificate in Electrical Engineering Heavy Current.
- Subjects at N3 level must include Mathematics, Engineering Science, Electro Technology, Industrial Electronics.
- Basic understanding of the applicable trade is required.
- Medically fit for both plants (BMR and PMR).
Training Programme and Responsibilities
The learnership programme is a thirty-six (36) month training programme that follows a set training programme under the auspices of the MQA.
Participants will understand how to safely install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery within a plant.
