Duties & Responsibilities
Purpose of the Role
The main goal is to help you achieve an Artisan Trade Qualification through Colliery Training College. Here’s what you’ll be diving into:
- Legal Compliance: Understanding and following the rules.
- Shadowing, Learning & Practicing: Getting hands-on experience in the trade.
- Administration and Reporting: Managing paperwork and keeping things organized.
- Quality: Ensuring the work meets the highest standards.
- Safety: Prioritizing a safe working environment.

Job Requirements
To seize this opportunity, you’ll need:
- Grade 12: A good start to your educational journey.
- Location: The learnership will be at Annesley Mine in Burgersfort. If you’re around Modimolle, even better!
- Minimum Requirements: Have at least electrical engineering N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, Electrical Trade Theory, and Industrial Electronics as subjects.
- Advantageous: If you have a related electrical N3 or higher, that’s a plus.
- Academic Record: A good one would be an advantage.
- Availability: Ready to roll from January 2024 to begin the learnership.
