Job Description

Our team is looking for energetic individuals to join us as Negotiations Consultants.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the debt review process by negotiating with credit providers to improve our clients’ financial positions.

We need motivated, customer-focused, and analytical individuals who can thrive in a vibrant team environment.

Full training, including in-house software and legal documents, will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiations Excellence:
    • Successfully negotiate with credit providers on all Debt Counselling accounts.
    • Provide solutions and advice to clients on assets and accounts not eligible for Debt Counselling.
    • Efficiently manage the client life cycle, from acceptance to legal assignment.
    • Provide financial protection on debt through Credit Insurance.
    • Ensure financial security on income and household expenses with Life Cover Insurance.
    • Meet company and industry SLA’s from Accepted to Assigned to legal.
  • Intermediary Role:
    • Act as a bridge between credit providers and clients.
  • Client Satisfaction:
    • Ensure the highest quality client experience.
    • Support clients and credit providers throughout the negotiations process.
    • Build effective relationships with credit providers and internal stakeholders.
    • Perform work with precision and high quality.
    • Effectively manage workload.

  • Completed Degree/National Diploma in Finance, BAdmin, Science, or Law.
  • Live IDM’s values.

  • Exposure to the insurance industry (advantageous).
  • Exposure to the sales industry (advantageous).
  • Favorable credit and criminal clearance.
