About the HWSETA Annual Report Design Competition
The HWSETA Annual Report Design Competition is an initiative by the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA) that aims to promote creativity and innovation among young people while also providing opportunities to learn and skill up for a career in the healthcare industry.
This competition invites young aspiring graphic designers to design the HWSETA’s annual report, with the winner earning a Phlebotomy/Pharmacy Assistant learnership.
The competition is open to young people aged 18-35 who are South African citizens and have a matric certificate.
The competition brief may vary from year to year and focuses on creating innovative and engaging designs for the annual report.
Participants are judged on their design skills and the ability to produce a report that reflects the values and accomplishments of the HWSETA.
The Phlebotomy/Pharmacy Assistant learnership is a one-year program that trains individuals to be qualified in drawing blood samples and/or providing comprehensive and personal healthcare services to patients in a pharmacy environment.
The learnership covers theoretical and practical training, and successful completion can lead to a career in the healthcare industry.
