Description
Heineken Beverages (South Africa) is inviting applications for Intern: Supply Chain – PPL within the Procurement Planning & Logistics (PP&L) Department at the Gqeberha Production Plant. This 12-month fixed-term internship is designed to provide practical workplace experience to students currently studying towards a Logistics Management qualification, with exposure to warehousing, receiving, inventory control, stock counts, and materials transfers.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete warehouse orders for production according to the production plan.
- Receive and process incoming stock and verify inbound shipments.
- Execute inventory controls and maintain high quality standards.
- Participate in stock counts and support accurate record-keeping.
- Identify opportunities to improve departmental efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Support inter-plant transfer of materials and verification of associated documentation.

- Sound communication and presentation skills.
- Strong time management and the ability to multi-task under pressure.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and able to follow procedures accurately.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Eligibility Criteria
- South African citizen and fully eligible to live and work in South Africa.
- Final-year student with an excellent academic record towards a Logistics Management Degree/Diploma.
- No prior work experience in the field is required.
