Minimum Qualifications

To be eligible for the YES Programme, you should meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics, Science, and English
  • National Diploma in Civil Engineering

Additional Eligibility Criteria

In addition to the minimum qualifications, the following criteria will also be considered during the selection process:

  • South African citizenship (must be born in South Africa)
  • Aged between 18 to 28
  • Unemployed and available for a 12-month Fixed-Term contract
  • Not a previous YES beneficiary
  • PC literate
  • Aspiration to learn new skills related to the Engineering and Architectural Industry
  • Responsible and honest character
