GEA is recruiting an Intern – Nutrition Plant Engineering (NPE) in Johannesburg to support day-to-day coordination between Service Sales and Service Execution. The role is strongly admin- and data-driven, focusing on CRM pipeline hygiene, quote preparation (Excel-based), installed base (I-base) master data upkeep, and cross-functional follow-ups to improve turnaround time, quality, and customer responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities
- Capture, qualify, and update leads/opportunities in CRM, including stages, activities, next steps, probabilities, and close reasons.
- Run and share weekly pipeline/lead aging/activity reports and maintain quote/lead trackers.
- Prepare quote packs in Excel using templates; consolidate technical inputs into commercial formats and compile approval packs (costs, margins, vendor quotes, exclusions).
- Maintain documentation control: correct storage, version control, and tidy trackers/registers.
- Update and cleanse I-base installed base/master data (sites, equipment details, serial numbers), link installed base info to CRM opportunities, and remove duplicates.
- Coordinate internally with Sales, Execution, Planning, Parts, Finance, and Supply Chain to unblock RFQs, supplier quotes, meetings, and actions.
- Support basic customer admin (meeting scheduling, document sharing, RFQ/admin inbox support) under supervision.
- Suggest improvements to templates, checklists, trackers, and basic “how we do it” process documentation.

Eligibility Criteria
- Matric (Grade 12) completed.
- Diploma/Degree (completed or in progress) in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (advantageous).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, plus Outlook/Word; PowerPoint advantageous).
- Comfortable working in CRM systems (any CRM exposure advantageous).
