Fasset has been established by the South African Government along with 21 Seta programs to enhance the amount of skilled workers in all sectors. The Finance and Accounting Service Sector Education and Training Authority is known as Fasset. They assist in providing learners with hands-on knowledge of their career choice and provides them with vital skills to succeed in the work market. Fasset Learnerships are mainly aimed at the HR and Business management sector.

Most of the learnerships provided by Fasset is for a 12-month duration unless stipulated otherwise. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend and travel money as set out on a standard schedule.
Fasset Learnerships Requirements
Fasset learnership requirements will be different for many of the fields. The Fasset learnership program requires candidates to sign an agreement/application for the learnership which must also have a witness signature and accompany all relevant documentation. This program is only made available to black South Africans so it is in-line with their strategic objectives.

Basic requirements:
- All applicants must hold a South African ID document
- Applicants must be a South African Citizen
- All applicants must have a valid Grade 12 certificate
- Candidates must hold a diploma or degree in field of application where needed
