What Does the Learnership Involve?
As a COCRE8 Technical Support Learnership participant, you will be responsible for providing technical support services and IT maintenance in a service desk environment.
The program combines structured learning components with on-the-job training to give you a comprehensive understanding of the IT industry.
The program will run for 12 months from June 2023 to July 2024, and you will be based at the COCRE8 offices in Midrand.

What Are the Requirements for the Program?
To qualify for the program, you must have a valid matric certificate and must have passed at least two languages in matric, with one of them being English.
You also must have passed mathematics at the matric level, and you must currently be unemployed. Additionally, you must be a South African citizen.
What Skills is COCRE8 Looking For?
COCRE8 is looking for individuals who have good communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
Any additional IT certificates or diplomas will be advantageous but not essential. You should be a self-motivated individual with a desire to learn, and you should be computer-literate.
A passion for IT and any IT-related certificates or diplomas will also be advantageous.
