CCBSA has an exciting opportunity within its Manufacturing department for an In-Service Trainee in Quality Assurance. This role is ideal for individuals who have completed the theoretical component of their studies and now require practical workplace experience to graduate. The successful candidate will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct quality tests on products and packaging
- Compile and maintain accurate quality control reports
- Communicate out-of-spec results to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure product quality is maintained in line with company standards
- Support audit readiness through proper documentation and record-keeping
Knowledge Required
- Basic understanding of microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and mathematics as applied in the food industry
- Familiarity with laboratory policies, standards, and practices

Eligibility Criteria
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (minimum 40%, not Mathematical Literacy)
- Two South African languages passed with at least 40%
- Studying towards a qualification in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related field
- Completed all theoretical modules and requires In-Service Training for qualification completion
- Must not have previously completed an In-Service Training programme elsewhere
