Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process final syrup for production lines
- Perform checks and quality analyses aligned with KORE standards
- Use SAP systems to ensure governance and compliance
- Conduct process validations and assist in automation troubleshooting
- Participate in quality audits, equipment calibration, and continuous improvement projects
- Support shift-based teams through problem-solving and training initiatives
Eligibility Criteria
- Matric with Maths or Maths Literacy (minimum 40% pass)
- Currently studying towards a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- South African citizen, aged between 18–35 years
- Employment Equity candidate
- Must not have completed similar in-service training before
- Must have been unemployed at time of appointment
- Proficiency in two South African languages (minimum 40% pass)
- Letter from institution confirming in-service training requirement
Skills and Attributes
- Strong analytical and decision-making ability
- Good understanding of stock control and planning
- Proficient in data archiving and SAP
- Team-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
