Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process final syrup for production lines
  • Perform checks and quality analyses aligned with KORE standards
  • Use SAP systems to ensure governance and compliance
  • Conduct process validations and assist in automation troubleshooting
  • Participate in quality audits, equipment calibration, and continuous improvement projects
  • Support shift-based teams through problem-solving and training initiatives

Eligibility Criteria

  • Matric with Maths or Maths Literacy (minimum 40% pass)
  • Currently studying towards a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering
  • South African citizen, aged between 18–35 years
  • Employment Equity candidate
  • Must not have completed similar in-service training before
  • Must have been unemployed at time of appointment
  • Proficiency in two South African languages (minimum 40% pass)
  • Letter from institution confirming in-service training requirement

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong analytical and decision-making ability
  • Good understanding of stock control and planning
  • Proficient in data archiving and SAP
  • Team-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
