Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day stores operations in a manufacturing environment under the guidance of the Stores Team Leader.
- Assist with inventory administration and control activities aligned to operational requirements.
- Capture, update, and maintain stores-related records using MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Contribute to effective coordination of materials movement within the stores function.
- Assist with compliance to internal processes, recordkeeping standards, and housekeeping expectations.
- Participate in practical learning activities and apply theoretical knowledge to operational tasks.
- Where applicable, support the use and understanding of stores-related ERP systems (beneficial but not required).

Eligibility Criteria
- Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy (minimum 40%)
- Two South African languages passed (minimum 40%)
- Currently studying toward one of the following fields:
- Logistics Management
- Supply Chain Management
- Operations Management
- Inventory Management
- Production Management
- Industrial Engineering
- Completed theoretical modules and require practical workplace exposure to complete the qualification
- Must be willing to complete In-Service / Experiential Training in industry
- Must not have previously completed an in-service trainee programme at another organisation
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be an Employment Equity candidate
- Must be unemployed at the time of appointment
- Must be 18–35 years old
- Must have a letter from the institution requesting workplace experience to complete the qualification
