Key Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Production Manager and management team.
  • Manage office administration including in-tray control, calendar management, filing, telephone calls, and message handling.
  • Perform general administrative duties and maintain administrative controls as delegated.
  • Ensure proper filing, storage, and security of both paper-based and electronic documents.
  • Support internal and external audits, including traceability and documentation compliance.
  • Manage time and attendance-related administration such as Best Time edits, leave records, and TES timesheets.
  • Handle administrative queries and provide support to factories and management teams.
  • Administer and monitor expenses, including fixed and variable costs.
  • Support PPE, chemical, and operational orders and ensure invoices are processed for payment.
  • Ensure accurate capturing and recording of data and transactions.
  • Assist with annual audit processes and general departmental requirements.
  • Support ad-hoc administrative requests and perform relief duties within the team.
  • Assist with leave application capturing for departments.
  • Collaborate with the admin team and provide team leadership support where required.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Grade 12 / National Certificate (NQF Level 4).
  • Relevant administrative experience applying job-related concepts and processes.
  • Experience working with senior management.
  • People management experience.
  • Fluent Business English.
  • Intermediate computer literacy.
  • Valid Code 08 driver’s licence.
