Clover is recruiting an Operator (Permanent) in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape to operate and monitor robotic production equipment in line with SOPs. The role supports production throughput, quality assurance, and traceability, and requires shift work (including weekends and public holidays) in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and control the robotic production area in line with SOPs.
  • Operate the robot, palletiser, and WMS system to support production flow.
  • Ensure process yield and throughput, aligned to the production plan.
  • Maintain accurate records and traceability for quality and compliance requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure quality assurance and integrity of finished goods, collaborating with logistics.
  • Assist with plant maintenance and safety programmes, including preventative maintenance.
  • Report equipment issues directly to maintenance and assist with troubleshooting under guidance.

  • Comfortable working under pressure and in demanding physical conditions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Grade 12 / NQF 4 (or equivalent).
  • Relevant experience applying job-related processes (manufacturing exposure advantageous).
  • Fluent in Business English.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Able to work in extreme conditions and on a rotating shift roster, including weekends/public holidays.
  • Quality assurance exposure in a manufacturing environment (advantageous).
