Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive customer service and assist customers with product enquiries
  • Merchandise stock according to store layout plans, including accurate shelf labelling
  • Maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring that aisles remain free of obstacles and stock is promptly organised
  • Advise customers on product selection and assist in resolving complaints
  • Ensure bulk stock areas are merchandised safely to facilitate smooth movement for customers and staff

  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of safety gear, and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager
  • Report damaged stock and assist with inventory management
  • Meet set performance targets and maintain established quality standards
  • Identify and resolve issues promptly within the framework of company policies
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
  • Communicate clearly and courteously with all stakeholders

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Minimum educational qualification of Grade 10 (NQF 3) with one year of work-related experience, or Grade 12 without related work experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and the dominant local language
  • Valid South African ID or work permit
  • Competence in performing basic calculations accurately
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to perform under pressure whilst maintaining quality standards
